Electrical Section Engineer

Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting for an experienced�plant based engineer to join our well established cleint.�
Job Duties:�




  • Ensure that all plant and people operate within and comply with statuary Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.�

  • Ensure that statutory and requirements are met for all assets within the department.

  • Determine, monitor and control the engineering resources and materials needed to satisfy the operational requirements of your area.

  • Develop planned maintenance and inspection schedules.

  • Provide technical and engineering expertise to production and quality managers.�

  • Identify and assist in the preparation of development opportunities in your area, resulting in the continuous enhancement of engineering and production performance.

  • Assist in the training and continuous development of a multi discipline engineering team.�

  • Lead and co-ordinate investigations, identify root cause and implement solutions to any problems occurring within your area of responsibility.

  • Monitor and drive KPIs for your area of responsibility.�



Requirements:�




  • Previous background in plant engineering and maintenance.�

  • Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC or higher depending on other experience).�

  • Plant engineering experience with three phase systems, AC and DC equipment and ideally PLC experience of GEM, Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems.

  • Experience and knowledge of Remelt facilities including VAR, VIM, ESR & Heat Treatment Furnaces.

  • An understanding of risk management.�

  • Strong root cause analysis and problem solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions.�

  • Experience with a CMMS.�





Working hours: Day shift role 8am - 4pm.�
Salary:��42,000 - �50,000 DOE.�
This is a Full time, Permanent position.�
