Job Purpose:

The company is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join a large team of 56 engineers, working collaboratively to ensure the site’s optimal performance at a site in Fawley, Southampton. The successful candidate will undertake installations, planned, reactive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Duties as an Electrical Technician:

• Uphold and embrace the company's Health and Safety requirements.


• Perform reactive HVAC works to a high-quality standard, compliant with statutory regulations and SLAs.


• Conduct HVAC and electrical planned maintenance activities according to CMMS work plans.


• Undertake HVAC and electrical installation work following regulatory requirements.


• Maintain the F Gas register and maintenance logbooks.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards.


• Specify materials and spare parts for reactive or planned maintenance on HVAC and electrical activities.


• Perform electrical isolations and accurately complete associated documentation.


• Work within the site Permit to Work system.


• Update maintenance records electronically or on paper-based systems.

Essential criteria for the role of an Electrical Technician:

• Full UK driving licence.


• Qualified HVAC Engineer with at least 5 years of building services experience.


• F Gas registered.


• Valid City & Guilds Safe Handling Certificate.


• 18th Edition IEE wiring regulations.
