Responsibilities and duties Working as the Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Perform full range of plant maintenance tasks and repairs on a proactive/planned and reactive basis.
- Use predictive maintenance techniques such as thermo-graphic imaging and vibration analysis as well as experience, skill and judgement to make regular assessments of the plant condition.
- Implement equipment reliability improvements and develop new maintenance work-flow methods and techniques.
- Employ Preventive/Predictive maintenance techniques to achieve benchmark plant reliability
- Ensure adherence to safe system of work, ppe permits, risk assessment etc
Professional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:
- Technical school higher qualification (NVQ) or Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge with relevant hands on experience.
- Electrical qualification.
- Basic understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance techniques
- Excellent technical, analytical and fault-finding skills
Personal skillsThe Electrical Technician role would suit someone who is:
- Experienced with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work shift
