Electrical Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine upgrade maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical installations and equipment.
- Fault finding and rectification previous experience would be desirable.
- Knowledge of electrical safe isolation procedure and safe working practices
- Install, test, and inspect electrical components, including wiring, circuits, and panels, to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults using technical drawings, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement system upgrades and modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance logs.
- General electrical testing and awareness of required legislation.
- Some Digital literacy and IT skills, with a understanding of Microsoft office products, including Microsoft Forms.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Other:
- Position: Electrical Technician
- Schedule: Monday to Friday - Away from Home 5 days a WEEK
- 6am start on a Monday to travel to location - could be Aberdeen ) first 2 hours overtime - all travel time paid, all lunches, breakfasts, hotels paid)
- Location: Various locations throughout the UK (Monday to Friday travel)
- Expenses: All travel expenses will be covered
- Resources Provided: Transport and tools will be supplied.
- MUST have driving license - will use company pickup
