Electrical Wholesale - Sales Director

My client is a one branch Electrical Wholesaler in the Midlands. They are looking for a Sales Director for their Birmingham Branch.

We are looking for a sales Director to;

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share

• Grow, lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales and business development professionals

• Manage key customer accounts and establish long-term partnerships to meet and exceed sales targets

• Identify new business opportunities in emerging markets, help build a team to capitalise on opportunities developing strong relationships with industry stakeholders

• Develop valuable relationships with suppliers

• Collaborate with operational team for the continued successful delivery of customer projects

• Apply value-based sales techniques to maintain competitive advantage, ensuring pricing strategies align with customer needs and market conditions

• Have an analytical and strategic approach, accurate sales forecasting and report downstream and to your peers.

 Suitable candidates should have a successful track record in a similar senior sales leadership role. We are open to candidates looking to step up into the role,

Analytical and strategic approach a must. Product and category knowledge is beneficial but not essential. You will be experienced in dealing with customers in the electrical wholesale or similar environment including builders, plumber merchants and construction contractors.

You’ll need plenty of ambition and energy to drive us into new markets.

Naturally you’ll be out on the road, for which you’ll be given an electrical car, home charging point and a phone. Visibility and collaboration with the rest of the senior team is important and for that you’ll come into the office in Aston.
