Electrician and Electrical mate (working as a pair)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician (with ECS Gold Card) and an Electrical Mate (with valid ECS Card) to join our team on an exciting commercial project. You will work as a pair, assisting with the electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning across various areas of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrician (ECS Gold Card Holder):

• 
  

  Lead on electrical installations, including 1st and 2nd fix work.

  
  


• 
  

  Install containment systems, cabling, and lighting.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure work is completed in accordance with electrical safety standards and regulations.

  
  


• 
  

  Supervise and support the Electrical Mate where necessary.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct testing and commissioning as required.

  
  

Electrical Mate (ECS Card Holder):

• 
  

  Assist the Electrician in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Handle materials and tools, ensuring everything is organized and ready for the team.

  
  


• 
  

  Install containment, trunking, and trays as directed by the Electrician.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with 1st and 2nd fix work and any other general electrical duties as needed.

  
  

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 
  

  Electrician: ECS Gold Card, C&G Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualifications, 18th Edition, and previous commercial project experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Electrical Mate: Valid ECS Card and previous experience working in a similar role.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and installations.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work safely and efficiently, following health and safety guidelines.

  
  


• 
  

  Good communication and teamwork skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with commercial projects is preferred.
