Electrician - Qualified Supervisor

2x Electrical Qualified Supervisors required for a permenent role for a large electrical and mechanical company based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

The company:

Our client is a large electrical company based in Gloucestershire that work in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors. The majority of their work is within 1 hour of Gloucestershire and they are currently looking to hire 2x Electrical Qualified Supervisors to join their company on a full time basis.

\n

\n

The role:

\n

As a NICEIC approved electrical contractor, with their current and upcoming projects covering all sectors of electrical installation, t have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join the company as an Electrical Qualified Supervisor.

\n

As an Electrical QS, you will play a vital role in overseeing the safety, technical standard and quality of the electrical work undertaken by our team of electricians. The role is a mixture of office and site work, with freedom to manage your own diary whilst delivering on your role responsibilities.

\n

Prior experience in a Qualified Supervisor role is an advantage but not necessary if you have good knowledge of electrical testing and inspection.

\n

\n

Duties will include:

\n

Providing technical support to colleagues when required.

\n

Ensuring knowledge of industry regulations and standards are kept up to date.

\n

Providing training resources to our electricians, adult trainees and electrical apprentices while keeping professional development records.

\n

Carrying out inspections of works in progress and post complete works, ensuring compliance and driving quality standards.

\n

Ensuring testing equipment is maintained with up-to-date service records and accurate logs.

\n

Reviewing, assessing, and signing off electrical certification in accordance with industry stanards.

\n

Managing and maintaining records of all electrical certification and documents.

\n

Undertaking the NICEIC yearly inspection as part of our Qualified Supervisor.

\n

Qualifications and tickets:

\n

18th Edition

\n

NVQ Level 3

\n

AM2 Qualification

\n

2391 Inspection C Testing

\n

NICEIC accredited or have been within the last 24 months (desired)

\n

Full UK Driving License

\n

DBS Check (We can help with this)

\n

If you feel that you meet some of the criteria but not all, we may be able to provide some support so you can undertake the training needed to achieve the required qualifications.

\n

Salary and benefits:

£40,000 - £45,000 salary (negotiable based on experience)
