Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for an Electrician within the Electrics department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.
This Electrician position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Role Responsibilities will include:
Perform detailed inspections of electrical systems in aircraft landing gear assemblies.
Diagnose electrical faults or failures using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to determine root causes of issues.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, sensors, actuators, and other electrical components.
Calibrate and test electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
Carry out preventive maintenance to extend the life cycle of electrical systems.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and modifications in compliance with MRO and regulatory documentation standards.
Update electrical schematics and technical manuals as necessary.
Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with aviation safety standards and regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA).
Adhere to company safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
Work closely with other MRO technicians, engineers, and quality assurance teams.
Provide technical support and training to junior technicians as required
On wing support if required
You will be required to maintain the Practical Experience Record book.
Skills and Experience required:
Extensive experience within an Aerospace Engineering or equivalent environment.
Previous electrical background (Essential).
Good knowledge of wiring installation techniques and equipment
A good understanding of SAP - (systems application and product)
Able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the legislative and quality system requirements

One week of early shifts (6am to 2pm) and one week of late shifts (2pm to 10pm) alternating.
From £28,898 (+ shift allowance)
