As an Electron Beam Welding Trainee, you will be trained to become a Subject Matter Expert in using the Electron Beam Weld machine for highly niche projects. You will be trained up to become an integral part to the business for all EB Welding projects requiring this specialist skillset.

What You'll do:

As an EB Welding Trainee, you will:

  • Handle the EB Welding machine for specific welding projects
  • Be given training on EB machine to become Subject Matter Expert in this field
  • Weld materials at an intricate detail to meet company standards
  • Work alongside production engineering team and assemblers for set Aerospace materials
  • Review engineering drawings and apply engineering knowledge to perform best practice

What We're Looking For:

  • Basic understanding of Welding practices
  • Welding practical knowledge in metal components, temperatures, and safety requirements
  • Engineering knowledge within a similar industry
  • Experience with welding to an intricate detail
  • Eagerness for career progression and a team-player

What else do you need to know?

  • Full training is provided at every step
  • The hours for this role are on day shifts (08:00-16:30 Mon-Thu, 08:00-13:00 Fri, with earlier start/finish available!)
  • Substantial overtime available on evenings, nights and weekends once fully trained
