This thriving South Wales component manufacturer is looking to further strengthen their existing design function, following the acquisition of a number of lucrative new contracts. The company has an enviable reputation for design excellence and is the supplier of choice for many of the worlds leading equipment manufacturers.
Role & Responsibilities:
o Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will work as an integral part of a multi-disciplined team of Electronic, Software, Mechanical and Test engineers
o You will be responsible for all aspects of new product introduction, taking products from initial concept to full production release
o Working closely with a number of key customers, you will help define their requirements and develop robust Electronic design solutions for specific projects
o You will design, prototype, assemble and test electronic circuits, including the design of complex solutions using embedded microcontrollers, hall effect sensing and inductive and optoelectronic systems
o Deliver all aspects of projects to agreed delivery timescales and cost.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
o At least 5 years Electronic Product development experience within an Electro-Mechanical design environment
o Experience of Electronics design using Embedded solutions
o HNC in Electronic Engineering
