Electronics Design Engineer - Analogue

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Design Engineer - Analogue, to be an important part of our client's electronics team based in Hampshire. A world leader in the design and manufacture of sensor and detection solutions for a range of industries. My client's products are safety critical, designed to save lives.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Electronics Design Engineer - Analogue, based in Hampshire to be responsible for the design and development of new products working on new technologies.

The Electronics Design Engineer - Analogue, role based in Hampshire includes the following responsibilities:

• Designing analogue circuits to fulfil the product requirements.
• Collate requirements and generate design specification
• Design of low power analogue & digital electronic circuitry
• Design for Manufacturing
• Design FMEA
• Simulation of circuits
• Design of real-time firmware
• Implementation of Unit Tests
• Firmware implementation in C
• Participate in peer review and design review exercises to minimise likelihood of design errors
• Provide assistance to Production Test to resolve problems with new & existing product designs

Skills, Competencies and Experience required for the Electronics Design Engineer - Analogue, based in Hampshire:

• Degree level qualification in Electronic Engineering or similar discipline
• Experience in analogue circuit design, from 1st principles from discrete components
• Exposure to high-volume manufacturing,
• Low-power electronics circuit relevant design experience.
• Experience of full design processes, including peer review, requirements capture, peer review
• Experience in hardware oriented embedded firmware development, and/or bare metal hardware design
