Electronic Engineer (Product Development) - Derby - Up to £50,000
The Company 
An Electronic Engineer with a strong background in product development is required to join a rail industry expert who design and manufacture trainborne communication systems.
Whilst the company have a well established product portfolio and expanding client base, they are looking to expand their technical & innovation capabilities, and look at developing new products and improve existing products.
The Role
The Electronics Engineer will be key in defining and designing new leading products for the rail industry.
You will be involved in the full product development life cycle including: architecture, simulation, design, design verification and introduction into manufacturing
You will interface between all internal technical teams including software and hardware teams to deliver your engineering solutions 
Essential Experience 


  • Strong background in Electronics
  • Experience with products ideally within a communications or transportation (rail, automotive, aerospace) industry context. Real time Solutions would also be helpful.
  • Software/firmware understanding – ability to interface with software teams
  • Analogue product experience
  • Desirable: Experience with SQL (ideally PostgreSQL)
