We are seeking a talented Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hertfordshire. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electronic systems and components for a variety of cutting-edge projects. Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electronic circuits and systems to meet project specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, software, and test engineers, to deliver integrated solutions.
Conduct testing and validation of electronic designs to ensure they meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve electronic issues during the development and production phases.
Document design processes, create detailed schematics, and maintain accurate records of all projects.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into designs.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in electronic circuit design, including analogue and digital systems.
Proficiency in using CAD software for schematic capture and PCB layout.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and quality.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with microcontrollers, FPGA design, and embedded systems.
Knowledge of EMC standards and design for compliance.
Familiarity with simulation tools and software like MATLAB or Simulink.
Previous experience in a defence, aerospace, or similar high-tech environment.
