Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting an international manufacturer on the appointment of an Electronics�Test Engineer. The main focus of the role is to�develop and maintain test systems (including hardware and software) and provide day to day production support.� The Test Engineer also has involvement in improvement projects and introducing new equipment and new products into production.
Responsibilities
- Day to day support of production, trouble shooting issues with automated test systems
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve current test system
- Investigation of test failures
- Participating in longer term team projects
- Setup and maintain electrical measurement systems.
- Design and construct test hardware.
- Modify/generate test code to control instrumentation and perform automated testing.
- Develop an understanding of the production test machinery.
Person Specification�
- Minimum Degree in Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proactive attitude with a hands on approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Organisational, planning and program skills
