Embalmer / Mortuary Manager

A well-established funeral service is looking for an Embalmer / Mortuary Manager to join their team. With their current embalmer retiring in summer, they are seeking a dedicated individual to take on this important role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Embalming (training available for the right candidate)


• Preparing, dressing, and placing the deceased in coffins


• Organising viewings across multiple branches


• Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of mortuary facilities


• Assisting with other funeral-related duties as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Fully trained Embalmer preferred, but training available for those with relevant funeral home experience


• The successful candidate must have experience working in a funeral home


• Attention to detail and high standards of care


• Ability to work independently while being part of a team


• Organisational skills and respect for the nature of the role
