Embedded Software Engineer

Title: Software Engineer - Embedded LinuxType: PermanentLocation: South LondonAbout the Role:We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a background in embedded Linux user-space software stack. You will be joining a leading Space company on their space and satellite missions. You will make a real impact on the next generation of computing platforms within the space industry.Responsibilities:Make a direct impact within the space industry helping build a new teamWork on the design and development of space communication systems.Work on Linux embedded systems.Design and implement the full software stack, from low level drivers to high-level product applications, predominantly within the Linux user-space environmentRequired Experience:Bachelors / Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldIndustry experience within the space, satellite or telecoms sectorStrong background with embedded LinuxExperienced with Yocto or Buildroot3-5 years experience working with C and C++Bonus: Experience scripting with python or bashBonus: Knowledge of ARMAbout us at OvyoOvyo works globally with companies in the TV & Media industries including some of the top household brands.
