Embedded Software Engineer

I am seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a fantastic client of ours just outside of Cambridge.This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your embedded software expertise and experience to diverse industry challenges and impact the technical direction of the software team and its output.As a senior engineer within the Software or Systems group, you will play a pivotal role in new projects across various markets, including Consumer Products, Medical, Lifesciences, and Commercial industries.Involving key tasks such as the following;Development of firmware for embedded systems with embedded code, such as CEmploying wired or wireless communications, sensors, user interfaces and control.Development on both bare metal and embedded OS such as FreeRTOS & Linux.Definition of software system architecture, functional requirements, features and use cases.Development of high-quality code for production systems.Working with multidisciplinary teams to take products from initial concept through to delivery / transfer to manufacture.Key skill Requirements:Development in Embedded programming languages such as CAbility to read and interpret electronic schematicsBare Metal and OS development (FreeRTOS/ Linux)Working with a range of Microcontroller/Microprocessor devices such as ARM/ STmicroFull Lifecycle designLocation: CambridgeshireSalary: Up To £60,000Contract Type: PermanentIf this looks of interest, please apply and we will review applications and set up initial conversations.Sponsorship not offered at this time.
