Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum.

Shifts / Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Job Description:

Quest Employment are working with a company that specialise in cutting-edge security and intelligence solutions, working with Government agencies both in the UK and globally to find an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join their dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

• Writing, testing, and debugging embedded software for various applications.


• Being hands on with the design, build and test of products.


• Working to deadlines and schedules.


• Working with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and requirements.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Maintaining good version control.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong experience with microcontroller programming (PIC, ARM, Atmel AVR…)


• Ability to use debugging tools and possess strong problem-solving skills


• Experience with communications protocols and suitable hardware would be desirable


• Experience with designing, developing and verifying electronic schematics


• Ability to write code using best practice methods for the selected applications


• Experience with IoT & LoRa desirable


• Self-driven


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
