Job DescriptionEmbedded Software Engineer – 12 Month Contract – Hybrid WorkingWest MidlandsCMC are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our Automotive manufacturing client for an initial 12 month contract. You will be required to be on site for the first 4-6 weeks and following on will be working on a Hybrid Package with predominately remote working.You will be responsible for designing, coding, integrating, testing and de-bugging software programs for a variety of platforms.Duties and Responsibilities Work with other R&D team members to gather and define product requirements Responsible for the architecture, design, implementation and design of the software Delivering projects on time and to specification Provide internal releases to product development groups to assist in new product verification Debug and optimise software with hardware prototypes Provide support to the applications team in investigation and resolving issuesSkills / Attributes RequiredStrong knowledge of Embedded C ProgrammingExperience with Automotive-Specific Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS/AUTOSAR/QNX)Proficiency with Automotive Toolchains and DebuggingSpecialized in low-level software developmentThis is a great opportunity to join a growing company, offering a long term Contract to join an exciting team.
