Are you a talented Embedded Software Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in Huddersfield? KO2's client, a leading mechanical manufacturing company specializing in high-precision gears, actuators, and motor control solutions, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their growing team. Their products power innovative technologies across the medical, aerospace, and military sectors, including solar arrays that power satellites and the Jodrell Bank observatory's gear systems.

As an Embedded Software Engineer with KO2's client, you'll be at the heart of developing electronics that drive sophisticated motors in space applications. Your primary role will involve core embedded software development on ARM-based systems, where you will write C code that integrates seamlessly with electronic circuit design.

Ideal candidates will have strong embedded software skills, specifically in C on ARM, along with one or more of the following:

  • General electronics knowledge (Analogue and Digital)
  • \n
  • Power electronics for motor control and drives
  • \n
  • Human user interface skills using Python and QT to create GUIs
  • \n
