We are currently seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our client's dynamic team. Our client is a leading company in their sector, known for their excellent work culture and dedication to their employees' well-being.

As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a key role in maintaining positive relationships between our client and their employees. Your main responsibilities will include providing guidance and support to both employees and managers on employee relations matters, such as disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in employee relations and be well-versed in employment law and best practises. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as building trust and maintaining confidentiality are crucial aspects of this position. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on a range of employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve disciplinary issues, grievances, and performance management matters.
  • Conduct investigations in line with fair and objective procedures, ensuring all relevant documentation is maintained.
  • Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures to promote a positive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in employment law and best practises, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Deliver training sessions on employee relations topics, ensuring managers have the necessary knowledge and tools to handle employee issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and other stakeholders to identify trends and develop proactive solutions to enhance employee engagement.
