Due to an interesting period of change and reorganisation, our Co Antrim based Client, an international market leader in their field, wishes to recruit an experienced Employee Relations Specialist for a 6 month duration. This is a really varied Employee Relations opportunity and a crucial role in supporting the organisation through a merger process, ensuring continued engagement and effective resolution of people issues. Working within the high performing People Team, the successful Employee Relations professional will provide expert advice and manage a busy caseload of informal and formal employee relations issues for both the UK and US jurisdictions. This is a really interesting opportunity to work closely with a highly successful, passionate business during a period of transition and reorganisation. The Role Immediate start available Support with organisational design Assist in the development and implementation of OD strategies Collaborate with operations team and leadership to understand current organisational structures and support planning activities Support the design and rollout of new organisational structures Compliance and legal support Collaborate with legal counsel and HR leadership to address complex ER issues and mitigate legal risks Analyst data related to employee relations eg feedback from surveys, exit interviews to identify trends and address concerns Prepare reports for HR leadership summarising findings and recommending actions to improve employee relations Conflict Resolution and mediation Recommend and implement appropriate corrective actions to resolve employee relations issues effectively The Person Essential Minimum of 3 years experience in employee relations/HR, with proven experience in conducting investigations and handling complex employee relations issues Experience in the application of employment laws, regulations and HR best practices across the UK and USA Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Experience in change management and organisational transition Strong organisational skills Experience with change and project management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desirable 3rd level qualification CIPD qualified Experience of working in HR during a merger and/or acquisition, playing a key role during the integration The Rewards Competitive salary & benefits package Immediate start available 6 month contract Flexibility regarding working hours Full time hours Monday to Friday, some flexibility around start and finish time Hybrid office and home working (2 days office/3 WFH) Free car parking Professional and agile approach to work life balance Successful, passionate global employer For further information and to apply for this Employee Relations Specialist job, please contact Stephanie Mulholland at Hunter Savage.
