EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR - LOCUM (Head of department), 7 + PQE, c£50 -£60 per hour, SOUTH YORKSHIRE. This firm is looking for an experienced locum to step into the role of Head of Employment, providing support to the team during the permanent recruitment process. Job ref: 6651
As the Head of Department, your key responsibilities include developing a marketing strategy, leading business development initiatives, overseeing the provision of employment and HR services, and delivering training sessions, including briefings and updates, to the wider department.
•The role involves managing cases for both claimants and respondents, delivering HR and employment law services to commercial clients through the firm's HR Services division, and representing individual clients at Tribunals.
•The successful candidate will have access to secretarial support on an as-needed basis.
•Candidates will be qualified solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of 7 years’ PQE. You should possess exceptional and comprehensive knowledge of employment law, along with proven experience in business development.
•The ideal candidate must possess strong technical expertise, exceptional client care abilities, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with Case Management Systems and experience with ELA membership are advantageous.
