This is a lovely charity who deliver specialist supported employment programmes. You will be working on their new contract, which supports those with serious mental health support needs back into employment using the IPS employment support model.  It’s a great opportunity for an IPS employment advisor to move into a senior post.  Or someone at management level on another employability programme looking to launch a career within IPS.

The charity is great to work for.  They provide a flexible working environment, with excellent benefits (gym access, employee assistance) and are part of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter. Staff tend to stay, mainly due to the organisation being able to offer a wide range of career progression / development options (they are niche but diverse and have their own college as well as being a main provider for supported internships).

The contract is being delivered across Stockport and Trafford.  You will have a small caseload (1 – 2 tops) but your role is mainly focussed on supporting your team of ten by the following:

Clinical field monitoring:  going to clinical settings, ensuring referrals are coming through and advisors are integrated / working well within clinical team
Participant field monitoring:  Ensuring clients are getting the right support and being matched to the right roles
Employer engagement mentoring:  supporting and coaching staff around employer engagement.
121’s / team meets:  Weekly team meet / Each member of staff has a weekly check in / problem solving, and each month the above 3 points need to be reviewed
Risk assessments:  On average 8 weekly risk assessments per week (lots ofreading of docs from mental health teams) for new clients joining the programme.

Please apply via this advert – we aim to get back to everyone.  If by chance you have not had a response within 48 hours, feel free to call the office and ask for James (number on the Red 5 People website) or complete the ‘Send Us A Message’ form on the Contact Us page and we shall get back in contact promptly.

Please note:  This role is a permanent contract.  Initially you will be covering a 12-month mat cover period starting from September.  However, they charity are confident to offer this as a permanent role as they anticipate further opportunities for you as they are continually growing
