Job DescriptionEmployment Tribunal ConsultantPart Time – 3 days per week (2 days from home, 1 in the office) – potential for 4 days/full time in futureSalary From: £45,000 to £50,000 FTE dependent upon experienceCheshire WA3 - Must live within a commutable distanceEML is a successful provider of HR, H&S and Employment Law services, and has been supporting employers for more than 35 years. We offer clients a commercial, no-nonsense approach and a personal service which sets us apart from larger HR service providers.We are looking for an experienced part time Employment Tribunal Consultant to join our team for 3 days per week. The overall purpose of the role is to provide clients with first class support and advice in respect of any Employment Law issue, and to represent clients who are faced with Employment Tribunal/Early Conciliation claims.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing clients with advice in respect of more complex employment law issues and assisting the wider team as necessary.Liaising with ACAS in respect of Early Conciliation claimsActing as the client’s representative in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including all advocacyDrafting Settlement Agreements and related documentsPreparing written briefings, reports and articles on HR/Employment Law topicsDesigning and delivering Employment Law trainingWe are looking for an excellent communicator who will be able to provide confident advice in a friendly manner. The candidate will need to have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, and experience in a similar consultancy environment would be a definite advantage.The ideal candidate will also:have a strong academic record (degree level or equivalent)have a good eye for detail and excellent writing skillsbe adaptable and willing to take on a range of responsibilitieswork well as part of a close-knit teambe comfortable in identifying and progressing consultancy opportunities with new and existing clientsInterested in this Employment Tribunal Consultant role?
