End Point Assessor- Engineering Operative

NOCN Group are seeking a freelance End Point Assessor/ IQA with significant experience as an Engineering Operative, to help carry out End Point Assessments for the Engineering Operative apprenticeship Standard. The roles are flexible and freelance but do require attendance on site.The Engineering Operative Standard has the following 6 pathways:Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication, Material (Processing or Finishing),Technical Support We welcome assessors whether they can assess 1 of the pathways or multiple, at present we are keen to speak with all Assessors/IQAs with experience in each of the pathways listed above.Location: Remote, travel required to sitesHours: Worker Contract, FreelanceDuties and Responsibilities:Assessing the apprentice against the relevant Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours via their Observation with questioning and Professional discussion supported by their Portfolio of Evidence in accordance with the End Point Assessment plan.Upload reports from the assessments in a timely manner and in line with NOCN's service level agreements.Prepare for assessments in a timely manner and be able to identify gaps in the apprentice's KSBsBe able to build a quick rapport with apprentices to ensure that they can perform their best within assessmentsMaintaining hands on CPD in their subject area to ensure knowledge is up to date.Represent NOCN in a professional manner when conducting assessments.Adhering to GDPR practices and ensuring all data is secure.NOCN will provide full training on our internal quality assurance processes and how to conduct these.Role Requirementsmust have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Engineering sector which they have demonstrated within the past 3 yearsqualified to a minimum of level 3 within the engineering discipline being assessedHold Level 3 assessor qualificationPlease apply below if you are interested or email ##### to find out more.
