We have a great new opportunity for an Engagement Manager to join this highly thought of Birmingham charity, based in their central city centre offices.

As a member of the senior fundraising team, this Engagement Manager role will play a pivotal part in contributing to the overall fundraising strategy, growth and effectiveness of the organisation, by developing long term high value strategic partnerships. You will be leading, coaching and inspiring a team, supporting a team of ambassadors with developing strong relationships with internal on-site staff members and patient families, looking to really broaden their understanding of the fantastic work the charity does.

With a commercially astute approach to your role, you will monitor revenue and cost budgets for your team, working closely with the Deputy Head of Fundraising to ensure project milestones are met and KPIs are achieved. As the Engagement Manager for this central Trust, you will review the volume and value of fundraising enquiries from patient families and monitor awareness levels of the charity and its impact. You will also identify opportunities to develop brand awareness, including working closely with the Marketing team on new campaigns and supporting with fundraising events and activities across the charities 4 main sites.

For this fast-paced Engagement Manager position, you must be a fantastic communicator and have experience in a Fundraising, Sales or Business Development role, ideally from within the charitable sector. You will be an accomplished manager, used to motivating a team and highly collaborative, confident working with all internal teams as well as key external stakeholders. Crucially, you will be proactive, with bags of initiative and excited about the opportunity to play a key part in building engagement around one of Birmingham’s most important charitable organisations.
