Engine Maintenance Technician (Gas Engines)

c£40,000 + Van + Benefits + Bonus

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Engine Maintenance Technician to join a Power Generation business.

Covering Oxford, Basingstoke and Southampton, you will travel to various sites to carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of engines, predominantly MWM.

As the Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

•          Carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance on various sites across Oxford, Basingstoke and Southampton

•          Responding to breakdowns and carrying out repairs efficiently on large Gas Engines and CHP units

•          Operate within strict Health & Safety standards

•          Ensure all paperwork and legislation is followed and kept up to date

•          Working as part of an on-call rota with a team of other engineers

•          Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

•          Proven experience in an engine maintenance role

•          Experience with MWM engines is essential for this position 

•          The ability to travel to various sites with a flexible approach to hours

•          A relevant engineering qualification; Apprenticeship/NVQ/Btec/HNC etc

•          A full UK driving licence
