Engineer - SC/DV ClearedI am currently looking for a Engineer to take part in designing, developing, implementing, automating, and maintaining software to monitor complex scalable architectures. You will work with highly skilled and engaged colleagues on our Unix/Linux/Azure/AWS network infrastructure used to power our cloud native products, deployed on a global scale.Job Functions – Own automation of the infrastructure and drive the development of new features.Work on bringing engineering practices into infrastructure operations.Develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug problems live, on some of the largest and most complex systems in the world.Design, develop and maintain software to monitor and optimize our architecture.Develop interactive dashboards using the latest web technologies.Automate the process of getting data from different sources to compare with baselines and automatically act on breaches.Pro-actively think of new ways to measure our performance.Be challenged to handle our complex and large data sets.Setup, plan and maintain Unix/Linux, AWS/Cloud Azure infrastructure.Has strong automation abilities using: Chef, Puppet, Ansible and Kubernetes.Basic Qualifications – 5 + years’ experience with computer systems or networking.Experience working with computer hardware for installation and upgrades.Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures.Experience working with file and system maintenance procedures.Solid understanding and use of Unix/Linux systems.Experience with Unix/Linux and network fundamentals.Competence in Terraform and Terraform scripts.Azure development experience.AWS development experience.Extensive development experience in cloud and open-source toolsExposure working in a Microsoft Azure DevOps environment.Azure CI/CD framework.Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field.Other qualifications/characteristics – Strong problem-solving skills.Self-motivated - working to brief with limited supervision.Creative in applying new technology to build innovative solutions. *Candidates must be sole British National and hold current active SC clearance to be considered*
