We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven intern / graduate with interest in coding, software system validation, and technical documentation to join our team in Witney. Job Summary:
As an intern in our team, you will work on various projects involving software systems validation, technical documentation, coding, and the development of user guides. There is also potential for hands on experience within our laboratories! The role provides exposure to real-world problem solving, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to industry-level challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Coding and Software Development:
- Assist in writing, testing, and debugging code for software systems and applications.
- Collaborate with software engineers and researchers to improve code efficiency and functionality.
- Contribute to the development and integration of new features into existing systems.
Software System Validation:
- Support the team in the validation and testing of software systems to ensure they meet regulatory standards and functional requirements.
- Assist in designing and executing test plans, logging results, and reporting any issues.
- Work on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the validation process.
Technical Documentation:
- Develop and maintain user manuals, technical guides, and training documents for software and hardware systems.
- Document system configurations, coding procedures, and validation processes.
- Ensure that all documentation complies with company standards and is easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.
Detailed Paperwork & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports outlining testing processes, validation results, and project milestones.
- Maintain thorough records of all coding, testing, and validation procedures to ensure full traceability and audit compliance.
- Organise and archive project documentation for easy access and retrieval.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, project managers, and quality assurance teams.
- Participate in team meetings, providing updates on project progress and collaborating on solutions to technical challenges.
Requirements:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recent graduate: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
