About the Role:

As an Engineering Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across a range of levels. You will play a vital role in helping students develop their engineering skills, preparing them for future academic and career success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality engineering lessons.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Support students in developing their engineering skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning outcomes.

Requirements:

• Level 5 or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Degree in Engineering or a related subject.
• If you do not have a formal teaching qualification but have studied Engineering to honours degree level (Level 6) and are interested in teaching opportunities, this could be a great entry route to teaching for you.
• Ideally, some experience in teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student success and continuous professional development.
