The Vacancy

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Accrington team in the position of Maintenance Fitter.

The role holder will play a safe and active part in maintenance activities, being responsible to rectify all electrical malfunctions / breakdowns safely and effectively to enable the continuity and productivity of the plant, to achieve current safety, output, and quality targets.

Perform to a good standard all aspects of Maintenance Fitting.
Providing solutions for practical problems, the exact day to day duties will vary depending on the task.
Fault finding on pneumatics, hydraulics, machines out of sequence and reduce downtime.
General welding and fabrication.
Developing personal engineering skills.
Provide maintenance solutions to enhance the improvement of plant efficiencies.
General machining is an advantage, Centre Lathe work, Milling Machine work.
