I am currently looking to recruit an Engineering Manager for a Privately Owned Housebuilding based in Cheshire.
The Developer would be particularly interested in Senior Engineers, Senior Development Engineer or Development Engineers that are looking to take the next set in their career.
You will be reporting to the Technical Director, and you will be tasked with managing the team of Development Engineers on housing sites throughout the Northwest
Some Responsibilities
Pre-Contract Technical input: design feasibility/review, value engineering, planning surveys, energy strategy, sustainability, construction techniques and other elements as required by the Technical Director.
Manage & oversee the development engineers to deliver key outputs for the business ontime.
Commission the Pre-Construction Stage Planning and Feasibility Reports; Arboriculture,
Archaeological, Acoustic, Ecology, Fire Risk Assessment, Flood Risk Assessment, Traffic & Transport, Soil Investigation, Soakage Tests.
Production, Management, and Review of the Design and Pre-Construction Programmes.
Produce the Schedule of Service Document(s) for Designer/Consultant Appointments, Liaise with QS over Appointment & Warranty Completion.
Efficiently Value Engineer Design Proposals in Conjunction with other members of the Project Team.
Manage the Production and Review of Design Information and Details during the Pre-
Contract and Construction Phase.
Oversee the technical approval process and provide input to secure sectional agreements across all regional projects in a timely manner.
Manage & Monitor estate completion schedules, registers & bonds.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree, HND/HNC in a Construction / Civil Engineering related field
Must have housebuilding Experience
