Production Engineering Manager Electronics Manufacturing An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Production Engineering Manager to join a dynamic and growing electronics manufacturing company. With over 40 years of industry presence and record-breaking growth, we are seeking an individual to lead our production engineering and facilities teams at our state-of-the-art site. Key Responsibilities of the Production Engineering Manager:
Lead and mentor a team of production engineers and facilities staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Optimise production systems for electronic assemblies, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, collaborating across departments to drive process improvements.
Oversee facility maintenance, including infrastructure, utilities, and safety compliance, ensuring smooth production operations.
Manage and implement new product introduction processes and ensure seamless integration into production.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications (IPC-610, ISO 9001, 14001, etc.).
Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for production equipment and facility infrastructure.
Manage capital projects and supplier relationships for tooling, equipment, and software upgrades.
Key Skills & Experience of the Production Engineering Manager:
Extensive experience in electronics manufacturing and PCBA processes, including SMT, THT, and Reflow Soldering.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software, ERP/MRP systems, and process control systems.
Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coach and develop talent.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
