Synergi are recruiting for an Engineering Shift Manager to join one of the leading Food Manufacturers based in Suffolk. This is an opportunity to join a company who are a UK household name. The successful Engineering Shift Manager would be joining an experienced team with a vast amount of industry knowledge.
As an Engineering Shift Manager, you will be leading engineering standards across the site. Overseeing site engineers and managing a team of maintenance engineers.

Roles & Responsibilities for the role of Engineering Shift Manager:

Managing the day-to-day activities across the production area

Providing coaching and support ensuring a culture based upon continued improvement

Accurately collating records for all Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and internal processes

Promoting best practice and instilling a pro-active engineering culture

The Ideal background for the role of Engineering Shift Manager:

• Food manufacturing experience - 3 years management experience
• Experience leading a large team
• Technically strong - a qualified mechanical or electrical engineer
• Ability to deliver change and performance improvement programs
