One of the Worlds leading FM Service Providers is looking for a hands on Engineering Supervisor to work on a number of high end Commerical & residential properties in London. You will become an integral part of the Team, having the responsibilty of a team of enginners reporting in to you. This will be a showcae site, setting an explampe of the service that this comany provide to its clients.
Purpose:
Provision of all-round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure. Have a detailed understanding of all new or current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings, and complying with the Health & Safety/building codes of practice.
It is the Shift Supervisors role to act as a co-ordination point for the day-to-day activities on site between the shift team, specialist service partners and on-going project works.
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all activities within the building are undertaken with a professional and conscientious outlook with regards to the quality of work and Health & Safety, maintaining the 100% uptime criteria.
The Shift Supervisor will ensure that there are excellent standards of response to plant failures, completion of assigned work and ensure any abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are dealt with proficiently.
The individual should have a very good track record and should be capable of running the operation whilst on duty including their respective shift engineers. This is also a hands on role and therefore must have hands on experience of HVAC maintenance.
The Shift Supervisor should come from an apprenticeship, ONC / BTEC or equivalent and have a current Low Voltage Qualification. Ideally they will have been exposed to the Critical Services Environment with experience of emergency procedures and systems, issuing permits, sub-contractor control, labour control, and completion of PPM's.
With the diverse nature of our customers business and continued up time being a priority, means essential maintenance may need to be carried outside of normal hours and therefore a flexible approach to work is essential.
