Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Engineering Manager�to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager�who wants to work in a diverse role�where no two days are the same.
As the Engineering Manager,�you will�provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Engineering Manager,�will be responsible for:
- Responsible for writing of all Engineering Change Controls for�related activities, working with the team experts for input
- Responsible for owning the EWP process, working with the technical supervisors where required to ensure they are in place and correctly closed.
- Ensure NCR's are investigated, quality root cause analysis performed and smart CAPA's implemented to drive an improved service
- Keep accurate legionella L8 records for 3rd party supplier(s)
- Carry out regular technical audits and self-inspections to ensuring we are always audit ready. Attending audits when needed.
- Keep accurate filling for Gas Safe records and review on a regular basis to ensure they remain up to date
- Support the Facility Manager in management of the concerns and risk logs
- Ensure the critical spares and Mitie equipment registers are updated by the Technical Administrator on a regular basis and that a clear process is in place for managing and ordering spares.
- Understand the financial budgets associated with the technical services, seeking opportunities for cost avoidance and cost savings through self-delivery.
- Use available reporting tools such as Teams, Power Bi, Mozaic to ensure technical compliance is achieved with adherence to the contract KPI's and SLA's
- Responsible for ensuring 3rd party suppliers have completed all PPM's, corrective and remedial works within the agreed SLA's
- Assisting with building maintenance, permits to work, risk assessments and accurate asset information
- Responsible for ensuring the main duties of the EHS Coordinator and Technical Administrator are achieved.
To be successful for this Engineering Manager�role you must have:
- Holds Electrical,Mechanical or Refigeration technical qualifications, and have relevant experience
- A highly focused individual, motivating and driving performance through high standards of service and effectiveness
- Excellent understanding of statutory requirements in a technical environment
- Understanding and experience of working in a heavily regulated environment
- Experience of working in a challenging and fast paced environment
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Understanding of risk management and HSE
- Good understand of a CAFM system, such as MERP, SAP, Maximo
- Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft products, Power Bi etc.
- IOSH Managing safely
- Customer care/relationship building skills
- Able to work as a member of a team
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Able to conduct surveys throughout client sites
