The Client



Our client has decades of experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industry, specialising in engineering surveying and digital construction and see the future being led by immersive technology. Established with a primary focus to endorse and embrace digital technology to their clients. Their objective is to become the catalyst in efficiently capturing, processing and delivering meaningful data.



In every circumstance they wish to provide an exceptional deliverable, whilst minimising risk to operatives and capturing quality data in potentially hazardous environments. Effectively making each operation safer and more cost efficient. The currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Land/Engineering Surveyor to join their team on a high-profile energy project in the South West of England.





The Role



Ideally experienced in both Setting Out & Land Surveying our client wants you to embrace working in a team that thrives on providing technical solutions and more. The role will predominantly based, but not limited to, the prestigious Hinkley Point C project in Bridgwater, Somerset.





Experience /Skills Required




  • A relevant technical degree/HND in surveying or a related discipline, with experience in a similar role, however, candidates with suitable skills and proven experience will be considered.

  • Strong working knowledge of Leica Total stations & GPS

  • Strong experience in setting out.

  • Great written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to use AutoCAD and Leica Infinity for data capture and processing.

  • Competent in all MS office suite applications

  • Commitment to working safely with good health and safety awareness.

  • The desire to develop within a team-orientated environment.

  • Flexibility in your approach to working hours.

  • Willing to work long hours in adverse weather conditions.

  • Full UK driving licence.
