Position: Engineering Team Leader (Permanent)

Location: Flintshire

Hours: 4 on 4 off (2 x 7am - 7pm and 2 x 7pm - 7am)

Salary: �51,221p/a + benefits

HRGO recruitment is looking for an Engineering Team Leader to lead a well-established team, the ideal candidate will have an FMCG background.

Duties

Work closely with Production Team Leaders and Managers taking responsibility for delivering a high-quality engineering service.

Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team to provide engineering support to manufacturing operations.

Plan and coordinate resources to complete all work allocated to the team promptly.

Achieve team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with respect to equipment performance, reliability and breakdown & maintenance completion.

Coach and develop engineers and machine minders regarding safe working practices and the rapid diagnosis and resolution of faults.

Rapidly diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and basic control & instrumentation faults, within skill levels.

Participation in Continuous Improvement activities including leading short-interval control and root cause analysis events.

Auditing of monitoring systems as required by the Company to ensure compliance with Company

Skills

Time served Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship Level 3 City & Guilds / ONC / BTEC.
Food Safety Level 2
HACCP Level 2
Statutory Legislation

IPAF or equivalent

IEE wiring regulations (current edition)

Working to set Standards and key performance indicators
Competent user of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Experience in People Management activities, Labour/Resource Management and Employee Development Programmes.
Undertaking Work Environment / Area Risk Assessments

Participation in Continuous Improvement Activities or Root Cause Analysis Assessments
