English and Maths Tutor with SEN Experience

We are looking for some excellent Maths or English Tutors with SEN experience in the Hackney area who have a passion for teaching to join our tutor team.

We are looking for passionate and experienced tutors with a proven track record of success in teaching students from Primary up to GCSE level to join our team. Our tutors are skilled at developing and delivering engaging and informative lesson plans, assessing student learning, and providing academic support. They are also effective communicators and have a strong ability to build relationships with students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1


• Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level


• Assessing any barriers to student's learning and working to overcome these


• Monitoring student progress and producing reports


• Creating a positive and supportive learning environment


• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in


• Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree


• 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience


• Ability to work with students of all abilities


• Experience working with Special Educational Needs students


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Right to be self employed in the UK
