The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a deep passion for English language and literature, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

- Is an effective communicator and collaborator, fostering positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Embraces innovative teaching methodologies and assessment strategies to ensure student progress and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum and school's educational philosophy.
- Assess student work and provide timely and constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, collaborative planning sessions, and professional learning communities.
- Contribute to the broader school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven track record of success in teaching English at the secondary level.
- A strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis.
- Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
