Are you passionate about teaching English and inspiring students to excel in language skills? Supply Desk are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher that is looking for work in the area of High Wycombe.

Location: High Wycombe

Start Date: September 2024

Duties vary widely but can include:

• Develop and implement engaging English lessons that align with curriculum guidelines.
• Cultivate an inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning for all students.
• Employ both formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and growth.
• Offer constructive and timely feedback highlighting strengths and areas for improvement, guiding students towards academic success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
• Effectively communicate with students, parents, and peers.
• Cultivate a passion for literature by exploring diverse genres and authors.
• Utilise technology and digital tools to enhance learning and promote digital literacy skills.
• Establish clear behaviour and academic expectations, fostering a positive and respectful classroom culture.
• Encourage collaboration and peer interaction through group activities, cooperative learning, and inclusive discussions.

The Successful candidate will have:

• Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
• Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
• Prior experience of working within the education sector
• Good knowledge of the Religious Studies curricular
• Ability to commute to High Wycombe and the surrounding areas
