Role Overview:



We are looking for a passionate English teacher to teach both KS3 and KS4 students, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire a love for literature and language. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse abilities of students, ensuring they achieve excellent academic outcomes.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Plan and deliver effective English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.

  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.



Qualifications and Experience:




  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Degree in English or a related subject.

  • Proven experience teaching English at the KS3 and KS4 levels.

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
