Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time English Teacher to work at a College in Hull, starting 2nd September 2024 and lasting until at least December 2024. This is a temporary position, that may be extended in the future. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale (up to M6), meaning a daily rate payment of between �153.85 and �211.96 per day. This is a 2 day per week position, ideally with the teaching days being Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 - 4:30PM.

This role will involve teaching English to GCSE resit students and students that are completing apprenticeships, so a specialist teacher is required for this position. There is potential for some more hours and days at the college if the successful candidate is willing and looking for additional hours. There is also potential for some functional skills teaching in the role.

Located in Hull, this is easy to access on public transport from all areas of Hull. There is an onsite car park that is free to use, but spaces aren't always guaranteed. There is a large car park nearby that can be used by staff members, with the money being reimbursed in pay.

  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
  • Has experience supporting within UK schools
  • Has experience teaching English to KS4 students
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

  • Legal right to work in the UK
