An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at our exceptional school for students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)
We are seeking an experienced English Teacher who can deliver the English National Curriculum to our KS3 and KS4 students.
Our students are unable to attend mainstream settings due to their needs and as a result, we work closely with a range of support agencies and other schools to ensure our students receive the best possible education and support for their own personal growth and development.

The role English Teacher:
English Teacher with QTS and UK Teaching experience
Delivering excellent planning and teaching in English to students with SEMH needs, up to and including GCSE level.
Developing an inspiring and relevant curriculum.
Focusing on pupils' achievement using data and benchmarking to monitor progress for every child and address any gaps in learning.
Acting as a role model and mentor to support the development of our students social, emotional and mental health in addition to academic achievement.
Working effectively with parents and building effective relationships with the community, other schools and agencies.
The person English Teacher:
English Teacher
Qualified teacher status at either secondary or primary school level.
Relevant CPD evidence.
A clear philosophy for the education of young people.
Experience of supporting students with SEMH needs.
Ability to communicate well and explain ideas clearly.
