Job Title: English Teacher
Location: WN5 7AL
Pay Rate: £200 per day
An experienced English Teacher is required for a long-term position at a secondary school in Orrell, Wigan. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a deep understanding of English literature and language.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver comprehensive English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Inspire students to explore literary texts and develop critical thinking skills.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they achieve their academic potential.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4 in a UK secondary school.
Strong subject knowledge with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
