Full time: Long Term or Permanent roles Available.

Salary: £31,650- £41,333 dependant on prior experience

Are you an English Teacher seeking an exciting new role starting January 2025? Whether you're a seasoned educator looking for a fresh challenge or embarking on your first teaching position, Simply Education invites you to join our dynamic team in Cheshire. We currently have both long-term and permanent opportunities available within our Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) provisions across Cheshire.

As an English Teacher at Simply Education, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons in both English Language and Literature across multiple key stages. Our students each have individual healthcare plans detailing their specific needs and current learning levels. As an English Teacher you'll be working with small class sizes, typically around 8 students, with the support of a dedicated teaching assistant to facilitate learning in each session.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality lessons in English Language and Literature tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Maintain strong behavioural expectations within the classroom and employ a clear and methodical approach to teaching.
  • Inspire a 'can-do' attitude among our students, fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment where they feel encouraged to explore and grow.
  • Create fun and engaging lessons that encourage active participation and critical thinking, while also thinking creatively to ensure lessons are dynamic and impactful.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching English Language and Literature.
  • A passion for working with students with special educational needs, with a strong commitment to their academic and personal development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Dedication to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
