Our client is an award-winning bank with a range of specialist mortgages, savings accounts and business finance solutions. They're looking to recruit an Enterprise Risk Manager to be based from either their London, Reading, Cardiff or Manchester office where there is a hybrid working policy in place. The role will pay a competitive basic salary, annual bonus and comes with a range of excellent benefits.
You will lead the development, implementation, maintenance and ongoing enhancement of our clients Risk Appetite and wider risk reporting and MI (for those reports and MI coordinated within the ERM team).
What is expected of the Enterprise Risk Manager?
Risk Appetite
Owning the updates to the Risk Appetite Framework/Policy and related templates/presentations to committees.
Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Risk Appetite Framework/Policy.
Embedding Risk Appetite within our client, ensuring that it is appropriately adopted by principal risks, business functions and first / second line.
Collaborating across teams for accurate, complete, and effective monitoring of risk appetite.
Ensuring appropriate level of control is applied to the setting, monitoring, reporting and escalation of risk appetite metrics.
