Environment, Health and Safety Manager

I'm recruiting for a QHSE Manager where excellence in quality, health, safety, and environmental standards is not just expected—it's paramount and to enhance robust QHSE policies.The successful candidate will report directly to the Directors, ensuring the seamless integration of QHSE standards into every facet of the organisation. This pivotal position offers the chance to lead the charge in achieving and maintaining ISO45001 & 14001 certifications, a testament to the company's unwavering dedication to excellence.The role demands a proactive approach to reviewing and refining QHSE procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement across staff, partner companies, and suppliers. The QHSE Manager will be instrumental in training teams on safety and prevention, assessing potential hazards, and implementing corrective measures to safeguard the well-being of all.Auditing prowess is essential, as the role involves conducting thorough internal and external audits to ensure compliance and best practices. Regular reporting to senior management will be a key responsibility, providing insights and updates on the implementation and monitoring of QHSE procedures.The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in quality procedures, proficiency in ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001/45001 standards, and an in-depth understanding of COSHH legislation. A background in life safety service delivery is highly desirable, coupled with budget management skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.Clarity of expression, both written and verbal, is crucial, as is computer literacy to ensure all documentation meets the highest standards on the company's software system.
