Environmental Health Officer

Our�client in Scotland is seeking an EHO/Environmental Protection Officer on an initial 3 month contract.

Rate: �40 - �50 per hour (DOE)

The nature of the work will be predominately responding to complaints in relation to statutory nuisances such as; Noise, Smoke, Drainage, Odour, and waste/flytipping. In addition, you will also review planning applications relating to noise and acoustics and�work with businesses regarding their licences for commercial use.

Part time or full time is on offer with hybrid/flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications/Experience

• Hold a BSc or MSc (or equivalent) in Environmental Health


• Registered with EHORB / REHIS�


• Previous experience�undertaking enforcement action, and working with the public/residents�


• Experience working in a local authority setting
